Teams and Ages: United Athletics follows the Unified Age Grid supplied by SportCheer UK (SCUK)- Guidelines for athlete ages for cheer and dance. Age for the 21-22 season is based on the Athlete as of 31st August 2022. Athletes "season age" as of this date does not change their team. (EXAMPLE: Athlete turns 11 years old on Sept 1 2022 is still eligible for YOUTH)
Team placement is at the sole discretion of United Athletics Coaches.
Youth = 5-10 Years
Junior = 7-14 Years
U16 = Birth Years 2006, '07, '08, '09, '10 and 2011

Each Team offers a Payment Option for card or BACS. ​
There is a strong focus on technique and performance with ALL of our United Athletics teams! Athletes will learn a competition routine to music that incorporates stunts, pyramid, jumps, tumbling, and dance. As a competitive team, consistent training attendance and AVAILABILITY FOR EVERY COMPETITION is required of ALL United Athletics Manchester Team Members. Athletes train with Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches for dedicated skill development, safety and fun. INCLUDED IN SEASONAL MEMBERSHIP: Event Registration Fees, Insurance, Music, Choreography and club operational costs. These fees are non-refundable once paid.


NOTE: During the MAIN SEASON (September-July 2022 - All TRAINING FEES are paid by Standing Order to UNITED ATHLETICS on the 1st of every month and all MEMBERSHIP FEES are paid to UNITED ATHLETICS by payment plan. (Membership amount split into 3-4 payments across the season). Failure to pay on time will result in an athlete sitting out of training and/or not being entered into an event.
